What is Hyaluronic acid & PRP?
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body, primarily found in the eyes, joints, and skin. It helps retain moisture in the skin and eyes, lubricates the joints, and supports wound healing. In the skin, it provides structure and contributes to a smooth, plump, and hydrated appearance. Hyaluronic acid is beneficial for the skin as it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, promoting a more youthful look.
Plasma is the liquid component of whole blood, primarily made up of water and proteins. It serves as the medium through which red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets circulate throughout the body. Platelets, or thrombocytes, are blood cells responsible for blood clotting as well as supporting growth and healing processes. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment benefits the skin by promoting cell growth, boosting elastin and collagen production, and rejuvenating the skin. It can help reduce wrinkles, firm sagging skin, enhance complexion, minimize pores, stimulate hair growth, and fade acne scars.
